Recent Bits and Bobs

Hello friends! Thought I'd make an entry on some of my purchases in the past two months.

I saw a pair of Zara Wax coated jeans just prior Christmas and I was too lazy to go all the way back into the city to get them. So the next best option was to order online and cross my fingers that they fit like a glove. Lucky for me that they came right on time and fit immaccualtely. They're by J-Brand and they're in a fantastic maroon shade.

I remember going to Salvation army to search for a vintage looking jar and coming out with this pokadot shirt instead. Typical me getting side tracked. I feel like a clown in it but adore it nevertheless, and I can't wait to pair it under cable knit jumpers in winter because the collars are a tad pointer/longer than usual.

So I have a knack of going to the Vinny's near my work place on my lunch breaks and before work because its the best place to kill some time and find a nifty thing here and there. So glad I stumbled across this odd t-shirt for $5. The back of the shirt and pocket are made with an awesome badge and pin printed fabric, one badge says "BE BLACK BABY", how could I resist?

Another one of my notable pick ups from the Vinnies is this side purse in an obnoxious green. It was definitely an impulse purchase because of that colour, I can't get over it, I need everything in my wardrobe to be in that particular colour.

And to end, last weekend I was bored silly slothing and thought I should get back into crafting and so I bolted out my hot glue gun and made a bow tie clip out of vintage red leather. Further into DIY-ing, I've also taken up sewing again, after giving it a break for about 6 months, lets hope I discontinue leaving projects half complete.
